Second Annual Battle of the Boil

As you might know by now, here in San Antonio we love making festivals, shows and competitions that enrich our culture and scream out loud the beauty of our city and our people. Which is why, we have almost every month a different activity to share with you all. Our grand festival from April it has gone to the end but we still have much to do this month.

The Grand Crawfish Boil Competition is back this year for the second time, benefitting Saint City Culinary Foundation, sponsored by Lone Star Beer. Providing resources and telehealth services targeted to foodservice workers.

Chefs and contestants from Austin and San Antonio will be head-to-head to see on who has the best boil in South Texas. Of course, not only competition but everyone will be able to enjoy live music while you are in between crawfish plates and dancing.

This Thursday, April 21st, pitting local culinary pros against each other for the coveted title of Crawfish Commandants. This time it will be significantly larger, 8 teams will compete with 1,500 pounds of mudbugs at The Espee, east downtown event venue formerly known as Sunset Station.

You need your ticket so, heads up! Will have to reserve yours for the event, you won’t want to lose it so better buy yours in time. The experience of delicious food and different flavors would surely be winning for you!
