The story back of this beautiful place, comes from the 90s, and the citizens are part of it. In 1957 service clubs and citizens donated funds to purchase 400 trees to plant. Recreation centers were made, such as softball fields, tennis facilities and a 10-acre lake were made in 1960s. The Southern Segment of new Salado Creek Greenway was dedicated at South Side Lions.

The citizens invested in this beautiful place, just for you and I to have fun and enjoy of a very special and calm moment with family, or just alone looking for peace, inspiration or relax. The Majestic is the most antique and big theatre of the city, and the Aztec Theatre is known for all its iconic structure. The city is full of its own culture, and it is also represented on its music. Live stages are just necessary in this city and full of it in many restaurants.

Sam´s Burger Joint is not only known for their burgers is considered one of the best music scenarios. Diversity in all their concerts is one the characteristics this place has.

Pat O´Brien´s is the perfect place to take family to relax for a weekend, it is placed on the famous River Walk, dual pianos playing in a whole different level.

Spent fun few hours hunting down some of the murals that are part of the San Antonio Street Art Initiative. That meant, among other adventures, poking around in the most colorful freeway underpass you’ve ever seen – the Murals at Midtown.
